First United Methodist Church, Dallas | Dallas, TX
November 2022 - PresentOver the few past years, I’ve guided a major push in our social media strategy—nearly doubling our Instagram following (from 800 to 1,500), boosting Facebook followers from 3,500 to 5,100, launching TikTok from scratch to 568 followers in under a year, and picking up 788 new YouTube subscribers. Along the way, I’ve also taken a fresh look at how we communicate across the board by researching new channels and systems, then blending them into what already works so different teams can stay on the same page. I’ve handled everything from planning small group meetings of 15 people to organizing large-scale events of up to 1,500, making sure logistics and timelines run smoothly. I also led a top-to-bottom rebrand, partnering with agencies, rallying key stakeholders, and putting together a solid funding proposal that respects our history while focusing on where we’re headed next. Plus, I’ve managed the department’s budget and software investments—always keeping in mind that our funds come from pledged gifts—so we’re staying responsible, forward-thinking, and aligned with our overall goals.
Associate Minister of Connecting Ministries
July 2022 - November 2022During this time, I focused on bringing people together and keeping them engaged by coordinating community-building events and launching fresh initiatives. I also oversaw various volunteer teams, making sure everyone felt welcome and motivated, which boosted overall involvement. Plus, I streamlined hospitality strategies, so visitors had a more positive experience and members felt even more connected.
